Download PosterIn spite of its mission to integrate Islam to the "modern", Turkish Bureau of Religious Affairs has traditionally paid little attention to gender equality. However, in the recent years, the traditional perspective of the Diyanet has undergone a considerable change by reconfiguration of its women and gender policy. This talk will analyze the transformation of the Bureau's gender policy.
